    西方对中国的批评之声，大家都听到过。实际上，有些问题，在中国，早就讨论过，但是，总有人要用双重标准苛求我们。为什么就不能打破壁垒，进行更加坦诚更加公平的关于中国的讨论呢？譬如政治体制改革，你们到底要我们怎么做才算符合你们的标准呢？你们有什么期待？你们想要看到中国的政治体制有一个彻底的逆转吗？中国当然要变，不断发展，不断增长，不会停滞不前。我们不是什么事情都已十全十美，但改革本身，绝对不会是你们所想的那样。邓小平早就说了，我们必须有这样一个体制，保证这个国家的命运不能由一个人或者一小部分人来决定，应该有一个更加深思熟虑的的决策过程和更加科学的人才选拔机制。但当代中国的依法治国，只能建立在中国的国情之上。中国法治的基础就是中国特色。改革不能也不会偏离中国特色社会主义。
