[Introduction] This book contains seventy papers and speeches of the well-known Chinese theorist Zheng Bijian, which fall to six topics covering Mr. Zheng's statements in many aspects, including Patriotism and the Peaceful Rise of Contemporary China, the Chinese Dream and the Overall World Situation, Convergence of Interests and Community of Interests in a Global Context, etc. It is one of the definitive works with a profound understanding of the theoretical system and road of socialism with Chinese characteristics, as well as China's peaceful rise and future development strategies. The interpretations of the guiding principles of the 18th National Congress of the CPC and minutes of talks with foreign dignitaries recorded in the book were first collected for publication.
