Zhou Wenzhong

Born in Jiangsu in 1945, Mr. Zhou is a university graduate. He was Deputy Consul General of China in San Francisco, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Barbados and to Antigua and Barbuda, Deputy Director General of the MFA Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs, Consul General (Ambassadorial Rank) of the People’s Republic of China in Los Angeles, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the China Embassy to the U.S., Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to the Commonwealth of Australia, Assistant and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to the United States of America. He is currently Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia, Vice President of the China-US People’s Friendship Association, and a standing member of the 11^th CPPCC National Committee. and
