Bai Chunli

Dr. Bai, Manchu, born in Liaoning in 1953, consecutively assumed the offices of Vice President, member of the Party Leadership Group, Executive Vice President, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group (the ministerial level) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is currently President and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the CAS, Executive Chairman of the CAS Academic Divisions (CASAD), President of the CAS-TWAS, alternate member of the 15^th, 16^th and 17^th CPC Central Committee and member of the 18^th CPC Central Committee.
