Chairman Zheng Bijian met with Mr. Kevin Rudd, former Prime Minister of Australia，at CIIDS on May 9th, 2019. The two sides exchanged views on the international situation and Sino-US relations among other issues of common interest.

CIIDS Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Wang Boyong, and Mr. Qian Jing, Rudd's advisor, attended the meeting.
