President Xi meets delegates attending 2019 Understanding China Guangzhou Conference on Oct 25th Understanding China Guangzhou Conference opened in Guangzhou on Oct 26th, 2019. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the Conference.
Economic globalization may have encountered headwinds, but it remains an unstoppable trend. It is the prevailing call of our times for countries to have more intertwined interests and destinies, and the pursuit of a better life is shared by people across the globe. As a beneficiary of and contributor to economic globalization, China will continue to pursue peaceful development and a win-win strategy of opening-up in a bid to lend more impetus to an open world economy. We will join hands with the people of all other countries to make economic globalization more open, inclusive, balanced and beneficial to all so that it will better serve the people of all countries.Understanding China Conference has been held 3 times so far. About 600 participants, including more than 30 world-renowned politicians, strategists, scholars, entrepreneurs, participated in the event.
