Luncheon for Authors of Understanding China Book Series was held during Understanding China Guangzhou Conference

Understanding China Guangzhou Conference opened in Guangzhou on Oct 26th-27th, 2019. At noon on Oct 27th, as one of the side events of this conference, Luncheon for Authors of Understanding China Book Series, co-sponsored by CIIDS and CPIFA, was held in Guangzhou.

The second series of "reading and understanding China" was officially launched on the same day with the participation of well-known Chinese and foreign experts and scholars to explain to the world "where China comes from and where China goes".

"Understanding China" Book Series is organized and planned by CIIDS and implemented by CIPG. Around the topic of "Understanding China", famous experts and scholars at home and abroad are invited to carry out a series of research projects. Since the official project was established in 2016, 40 kinds of the first series of the series (20 in Chinese and 20 in foreign languages) have been completed.

The first volume of the series covers several themes of China's economic and social development. It tries to interpret the new era of China in a profound historical change and great rejuvenation process in an all-round way and a multi-dimensional way. It introduces Xi Jinping's thought of social justice with Chinese characteristics in a new and easy way to readers.
