Zheng BijianDirector General (Concurrent)
Born in Fushun, Sichuan Province in 1932, joined the Communist Party of China (the “CPC”) in 1952 and completed his graduate studies in the Department of Political Economy at Renmin University of China (RUC) in 1954. Since the 3rd Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, he has held the following positions successively: Head of the CCCPC Party Literature Research Office, Commissioner of the Research Section of the CCCPC Secretariat, Political Assistant to CPC General Secretary Hu Yaobang, Deputy Director-general of China Center for International Studies under the State Council, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (concurrently Director of the Research Institute for Marxism, Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought at the Academy), Executive Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of CPC, Executive Deputy President of the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC, and Chairman of the China Reform Forum.

Born in 1961, Mr. Ma is currently a member of the CPPCC National Committee and the Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Committee, Chairman of the Shanghai Xiangjiang Industrial Company and Deputy Director General of the China Vocational Education Association (CVEA).
Song GuilunDeputy Director General
Mr. Song assumed the offices of Deputy Director, Executive Deputy Director and Director of the CPC Publicity Department of Xicheng District of Beijing, and Deputy Investigator and Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee. He is currently Secretary General of the Beijing Committee for Social Workers and Head of the Beijing Municipal Office of Social Construction Works. Mr. Song also was a representative of the 11th CPC Central Committee (Beijing) and a member of the 11th Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC.
Suo ShihuiDeputy Director General
Born in Beijing in 1945, Mr. Suo was Department Head of the Central Academy of Cultural Administration (CACA) and Executive Director of the Society of Chinese Modem History. He is currently President of the Beijing Zhongzhenghai Investment Advisory Co., Ltd.
Lin DiDeputy Director General
Mr. Lin served the positions of Project Officer, Division Head and Deputy Director of the CASS Bureau of International Cooperation, and is currently Secretary General and Vice President of China International Culture Exchange Centre (CICEC) and Vice President and Senior Advisor of the China Reform Forum.
Lv BenfuDeputy Director General
Mr. Lv, former Associate Dean of the GUCAS School of Management, is currently Deputy Director of the GUCAS Business Innovation Research Center, Vice President of the China Information Economics Society (CIES) and Director of Research Centre for Cyber Economics and Knowledge Management of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Feng WeiDeputy Director&Executive Vice Secretary General
Born in 1965, Feng Wei was an attaché of Chinese Embassy in New Zealand, First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva, Director of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Vice Secretary General of the Board of Directors of China Foreign Affairs University, Vice Secretary General of China National Association for International Studies. Currently, he is deputy director and vice secretary general of CIIDS.

Born in Lanzhou, Gansu, in 1952, Ph.D. in Economics, Mr. Wang was formerly Vice President of the BOC (Bank of China) Institute of International Finance, Researcher at the BOC Head Office, Director of the BOC Overseas Agencies, Deputy Editor-in-chief of the Studies of International Finance Journal, Deputy General Editor-in-chief of the International Finance Journal and Deputy Secretary General of the China International Finance Society. He is currently Academic Commissioner and Deputy Secretary General of the International Finance Forum (IFF).
Wang AnExecutive Director
Mr. Wang assumed the offices of Chief Engineer of the Wuda Mining Bureau, Chief Engineer and General Manager of Shenhua Shendong Coal Group Co., Ltd., Deputy General Manager of Shenhua Group Co., Ltd., General Manager and Chairman of China National Coal Group Corp., etc. He is currently Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and General Manager of China International Engineering Consulting Corporation (CIECC). Mr. Wang is also a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering and enjoys the State Council Special Allowance.

Born in Yinxian County, Zhejiang, in 1949, Mr. Ye was Editor of the Mengya Magazine, Editing Board Member and Deputy Editor-in-chief of the TV, Film and Literature Magazine, and Director and Editor-in-chief of the Consulting, Research and Writing Center of Shanghai Cultural Development Co., Ltd. He is currently Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Institute for Reform, Innovation & Development Strategy, and Researcher at the Shanghai Research Center for the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, also a member of the 1st to 4th CPPCC Shanghai Municipal Committees and Vice Head of the Culture, History and Learning Committee of CPPCC.
Shen PinghuaExecutive Director
Born in Hunan in 1961, Ms. Shen is a senior editorial reviewer and professor with an M.A. degree. She was formerly Deputy Director of the Institute of Social and Economic Development, Head of the Scientific Research Division, and Director of the Academic Committee Office, all under the Hunan Provincial CPC Party School, and is currently Deputy Editor-in-chief and member of the Party Leadership Group of the China Children's Press & Publication Group (CCPPG).
Liu ChangExecutive Director
Dr. Liu Chang is a professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the Communication University of China (CUC). He also serves as Deputy Director of Faculty of Journalism and Communication, Dean of School of Journalism, and Director of Europe Media Research Centre at CUC. He is also a think-tank expert, International Communications Adviser of the State Council Information Office of PRC, Special Research Fellow at Peking University Television Studies Centre as well as International Editorial Board Member of the French Journal HERMES. Dr. Liu Chang is also a recipient of such honors as the State Council Special Allowance and the French Knighthood of Culture and Education.

Born in 1958, M.A. in Economics and professor-level senior engineer, Mr. Ren Jianxin served as GM and Secretary of the Party Committee of China National Bluestar (Group) Co., Ltd., Deputy GM of China National Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. (CNCE), Vice President of China Haohua Chemical Group Co., Ltd., etc. He is currently Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina).
Li WenliangExecutive Director
Born in Dalian, Liaoning, in 1954, Mr. Li was formerly Deputy Consul at the Consulate-General of China in Sapporo, Deputy Division Chief, Division Chief and Counselor of the MFA Information Department, Counselor of the MFA at the Embassy in Japan and Consul General of China in Nagasaki. He is currently Executive President of the Wusan Community Foundation.

Mr. Yang was Vice President and President of Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) and Vice President of China National Association For International Studies. He is currently Director of the SIIS Academic Committee, member of MFA Foreign Policy Advisory Group, Counselor of Shanghai Municipal People's Government and President of Shanghai Association for International Studies.

Mr. Zhang, former Executive Director of Goldman Sachs (Asia), Chairman (China), President of Banking (Asia Pacific), Vice Chairman of Investment Banking (Asian branch) and President of Global Banking (Asia Pacific) of the Deutsche Bank, is currently Deputy Governor of ICBC. He is also a member of the 10th-12th CPPCC National Committees.

Mr. Fan Peng was born in Huining, Gansu Province in August, 1959. Member of the Communist Party of China, Mr. Fan has successively served, among others, as President and Party Secretary of Gansu Academy of Social Sciences and Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the Gansu CPC Committee. Mr. Fan is currently Executive Deputy President of the Party School of the Gansu CPC Committee where he also lectures as a professor. Mr. Fan is also a Policy-Making Consultation Expert of the Gansu CPC Committee and professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at Lanzhou University and Northwest Normal University. Mr. Fan enjoys the State Council Special Allowance.
